Personal File Sharing Features

Share files 2 ways with Personal File Sharing:

1. Download and share files with anyone on the P2P networks. TrustyFiles connects to the public P2P networks to search for and download files, and respond to search and upload requests from other users.

2. Share files with friends.
Send or receive a file or search by email with a P2P Link.

Set up TrustyFiles

1. Set Primary Use in Options to Personal Sharing

2. Share additional files (optional).

Running TrustyFiles

1. Share files with anyone on the public P2P network.
TrustyFiles automatically shares files in the Downloads directory and other directories you specify with the public P2P network.

2. Download files from friends in 1 click.
When a friend sends you a file or search, you'll receive an email with a P2P Link. Just click it!

TrustyFiles automatically starts up if it's not running. If your friend sent a search, TrustyFiles connects to the P2P networks and runs that search. If your friend sent a file, TrustyFiles makes a direct connection to your friend's computer to try to download the file. In addition TrustyFiles will check the P2P networks for more sources and download from them also.

3. Share files with friends.
TrustyFiles can share a file or a search in 2 simple steps.

Share a search

1.	From search results, downloads, or My Files click any file in TrustyFiles. Then click Send at the bottom of the page,
2.	A web page displays with the file information. Enter your and your friend's email addresses and click Send. An email with a P2P file link is sent to your friend.

1A.	Click Send at the top of the TrustyFiles search results display, or
1B.	Click Tools > Share a Search from the command menu.
2.	A web page displays with current search keyword if any. Edit the keywords. Enter your and your friend's email addresses and click Send. An email with a P2P Magnet search link is sent to your friend.

When you send a P2P Link, the link includes your computer's Internet (IP) address. If you have a dynamic Internet address and go offline, your Internet address may change and you'll need to resend the Link. See Advanced Network Settings for more information.

TrustyFiles can start a P2P download from web sites or anyplace with Magnet, ED2K, and Sig2dat Links.
